This is my website, I started it for my family who don't use instagram, its grown a little from there. If you found yourself here, welcome.
Like many artists (I am loathe to call myself that....gifted[ish] amateur, scribbler, markmaker?) I started drawing at an early age, I pursued it through school until I was told in Secondary School that graffiti isn't art, so I took my "bad attitude" and dropped the subject...

My graffiti used to be found around my local town and in some places can still be viewed, I won't mention what my "tag' used to be, as I think [Redacted] Police might question why it was found on the windscreen of one of their patrol cars once...sorry mum.
I left art alone until early 2010s when I started playing with a Wacom digital graphic design tool, then came an iPad with Apple Pencil (what an amazing tool that is), which I still use to this day.
I spent some time in Prison...working, as a Prison Officer for Her Majesty's Prison Service, this both shaped me as a person, and broke a bit of me as a person - I suffer with anger issues and PTSD from some of the things I witnessed during that time, I still get a surge of adrenaline at any spontaneous audible alarm. Thankfully I now work in I.T and have done for over 10 years, which has its own issues but mercifully less chance of being stabbed with a keyboard & mouse. I find art helps mitigate the anger, and calms me down; it wasn't until a talking therapist suggested art therapy, that I thought about picking it up again.
As much as I love the work of J.C. Leyendecker and Normal Rockwell, oils aren't for me (at the moment) and I went fully Watercolour in 2025, used my adult money to go a little too wild on the hobby at the start (nothing has changed) and threw myself into painting, no art education, no training, no idea, just an ADHD fuelled obsession with the hardest medium!
I like other artists things to, I have just started to learn (teach myself) sign-painting and reverse glass gilding (Verre Eglomise) but it's very hard, and I am very critical.
Artistic things I like:
Watercolour
Line & Wash
Oils
Urban Sketching
Sign-painting & Gilding
Aviation & Motorsport Art
...art
Oh and I am an avid Arsenal fan
